Terms of use

These terms cover the Qartvelo Guard plugin and its optional usage statistics. They are short on purpose: the plugin is free, and the statistics are off unless you turn them on.

The plugin

• Qartvelo Guard is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later). You may use, study, change and share it under that license.
• It is provided as is, without any warranty, to the extent the law allows. No security tool can promise that a site will never be attacked or infected, so keep backups and keep WordPress, plugins and themes up to date.
• The source code is public on GitHub.

Usage statistics

• The usage statistics are opt-in and off by default. Nothing is sent to qartvelo.com until an administrator of the site turns them on.
• You can turn them off at any time in Settings > General > Usage statistics. After that nothing more is sent.
• Exactly what is sent, when it is sent and how long it is kept is listed on Privacy and external services.
• Qartvelo Company uses the data only to understand how the plugin is used and to improve it. We do not sell it and do not share it with anyone.
• To have the data of your install deleted, write to us through the contact page with your site address, and we delete it.

If these terms change, the new version is published on this page.
